App Trial Terms & Conditions

15 Days Free With Your Purchase.

Every purchase on this site includes a free 15-day trial of the Simplistic Fishing mobile app — for first-time app users. No payment information up front, no auto-billing, and nothing to cancel. Here's how it works.

The Quick Version

Make any purchase on this site and — if you've never logged into the Simplistic Fishing app before — you'll automatically receive an email with a temporary password. That gives you full app access for 15 days. When the trial ends, access stops; there's nothing to cancel. If you want to keep using the app, you choose to subscribe. No automatic charges, ever.

How the Free Trial Works

The Simplistic Fishing app trial is included free with any purchase on this website. No card or payment is required for the trial itself. Here's the process from start to finish:

  1. You make a purchase on the Simplistic Fishing website.
  2. If you have never logged into the Simplistic Fishing app before, the system automatically sends you an email containing a temporary password.
  3. You sign in to the app with that password and have full access to all premium features — every lake breakdown in the catalog, all waypoint downloads, and any other paid functionality — for 15 consecutive calendar days from the date your trial credentials are issued.
  4. When the 15 days are up, app access ends automatically.

Because no payment information is collected for the trial, there is no automatic billing and nothing to cancel.

Who Qualifies

The free trial is available to first-time app users only. If you have logged into the Simplistic Fishing app at any point in the past, the trial does not apply to your purchase. Your order still ships and is fulfilled normally — the only difference is that a new trial password won't be issued, since the trial is a one-time benefit for new app users.

What Happens When the Trial Ends

At the end of the 15-day trial period, your temporary access expires. The app will stop loading premium content until you choose to subscribe.

If you want to continue using the app, you can subscribe at any time — during the trial or after it ends — through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription pricing and billing frequency are shown in the app before you confirm any purchase.

If you decide the app isn't for you, do nothing. The trial simply ends and you owe nothing.

Subscribing After the Trial

If you choose to subscribe, billing is handled entirely by Apple or Google through your App Store or Play Store account. The subscription will renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until you cancel it through your device settings:

  • iPhone / iPad (iOS): Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Simplistic Fishing → Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Simplistic Fishing → Cancel

Again — this only applies after you've chosen to subscribe. The trial itself never converts to a paid subscription on its own.

Refunds for App Subscriptions

Once you subscribe, billing is managed by Apple or Google, not by Simplistic Fishing. That means app charges can't be refunded directly — refund requests must go through your app store account.

To request a refund:

  • Apple: Go to reportaproblem.apple.com → sign in → find the charge → request a refund
  • Google: Open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history → tap the order → Request a refund

Apple and Google make their own refund decisions on a case-by-case basis. The 15-day free trial is designed to give you plenty of time to decide if the app is right for you before any money changes hands.

Your Temporary Password

The temporary password sent to you is tied to your account and intended for your personal use only. Please don't share it with others — sharing trial credentials may result in early termination of the trial. If you never received your password or it isn't working, contact support and we'll help you get access.

Changes to These Terms

These trial terms may be updated from time to time as the app evolves or as Apple and Google update their own policies. The most current version always lives here on this page.
