If you're not satisfied with your Simplistic Fishing waypoints for any reason, send them back within 120 days for a full refund. No fine print, no restocking fees, no runaround.
If my waypoints don't help you find more fish, I don't want your money. Try them for up to 120 days — if they're not what you expected, I'll refund every dollar.
The Basics
Coverage: Every Simplistic Fishing waypoint product — both physical SD cards and digital download files — comes with a 120-day money-back guarantee from the original purchase date.
Reason for return: Doesn't matter. Maybe the lake isn't what you hoped, maybe you didn't end up using your boat as much as expected, maybe you just didn't love the product. I don't ask you to justify a refund — if you want one within the 120-day window, you get one.
How long to process: Once your return arrives (or your refund request is received for digital products), please allow up to 5 business days for processing. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method.
How To Return Physical Cards
If you ordered an SD card and want to return it, follow these three steps:
- Email me first Send a quick note to tyler@simplisticfishing.com with your order number and a one-line note that you'd like to return your card. This isn't required for the refund — but it helps me track your return when it arrives and process it faster.
- Pack the card securely The SD card itself is small but fragile. Slide it into the original case if you still have it, or wrap it in a small piece of card stock or bubble wrap inside a padded envelope.
- Ship to the address below Use any carrier you prefer (USPS First-Class is usually cheapest). Return shipping is the customer's responsibility — I recommend tracking, but it's not required. Once it arrives, I'll process your refund within 5 business days.

How To Return Digital Downloads
For digital products (.gpx and .kml waypoint files delivered by email or app), there's nothing physical to ship back. Just email tyler@simplisticfishing.com with:
- Your order number (or the email used to place the order)
- A one-line note that you'd like a refund
I'll confirm receipt and process your refund within 5 business days. As an honor-system request, I trust you to delete any downloaded files from your devices once the refund is issued.
What's Not Covered
I want to keep this simple, so the exclusions list is short:
- Returns received after 120 days from the original purchase date. The clock starts when your order is placed, not when it's delivered.
- Lost return shipments. If you don't use tracked shipping and the package never arrives at my Rockwall address, I unfortunately can't issue a refund. This is why I recommend (but don't require) tracking.
- Mobile app subscriptions. The Simplistic Fishing mobile app is sold and managed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. App subscriptions are non-refundable through Simplistic Fishing — any refund requests for app charges must be made directly to Apple or Google through your device's account settings. The free 15-day trial gives you plenty of time to decide before being charged.
That's it. There are no restocking fees, no "opened package" rules, no excluded states, no exceptions for sale items on waypoint products. If it's within 120 days and the return shows up at my door, you get refunded.
