Straight Answers
I bought a lake map on the website — will it show up in the app?
No — and that's by design. Your website purchase is a map for your fish finder: a digital download or SD card that's yours forever. The app is a separate subscription for your phone. If it's your first purchase with us, you do get a free 15-day app trial — watch your email for a temporary password after checkout.
What's the difference between the app and the SD card / digital download?
The SD card and download load our waypoints into your Garmin®, Lowrance® or Humminbird® — one-time purchase, works offline forever. The app puts lakes on your phone with satellite views, fishing conditions, custom waypoints and the ability to filter waypoints by structure type on the fly. One lives on your graph, one lives in your pocket.
Can I use the app on a lake you haven't broken down yet?
Yes. Every U.S. lake is available with Garmin® HD contours and satellite imagery, and you can drop, name, color and save your own waypoints on any of them. When you want your lake fully broken down, hit the Request Lake button right in the app — high-demand lakes move up the mapping queue.
Can I get my app waypoints onto my fish finder?
Yes. Star the spots that produce, then use Export Favorites or Export Custom to get a .GPX file you can load onto your Garmin®, Lowrance® or Humminbird®.
How does the free 15-day trial work?
It's for first-time buyers only. Make your first purchase on our website and we'll email you a temporary password. Use it to log into the app and your 15 free days start. No strings — if it's not for you, just let it lapse. Full details are in the trial terms.
Do new lakes cost extra?
Not on the subscription — every lake we add is included automatically. On the $9.99 single lake plan you're buying that one lake for 30 days.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so you cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings — not on this website. Cancel anytime and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
