How It Works

How It Works

Know the Lake Before You Launch.

Our GPS waypoint packages make it simple for any angler — beginner or tournament pro — to find bass fast. Here's exactly how it works.

Simple Steps to More Fish

From purchase to on the water in minutes.

01

Choose Your Lake

Browse our collection of 380+ lakes nationwide. Search by lake name or state to find the exact water you fish. Each breakdown covers the entire lake — not just a section.

02

Select Your Format

Choose between a Digital Download (instant .gpx & .kml files) or a Pre-loaded SD Card shipped directly to your door via USPS. (Digital files need a PC or Mac with an SD card reader to set up — a phone or tablet can't transfer them.) Both include a free 15-day Simplistic Fishing app trial. Terms apply →

03

Import Your Waypoints

Simply import the .gpx or .kml file into your Garmin®, Humminbird®, Lowrance®, or Simrad fish finder. Takes less than 5 minutes and works with virtually every major graph brand.

04

Hit the Water Confident

Launch with a complete map of every brush pile, ledge, rock, attractor, channel swing, hump, and offshore structure on the lake — all marked and ready to fish. No more guessing.

Setting Up Your Digital Files

Purchased a digital download? Here's how to get your files onto an SD card.

  1. 1 Insert a blank SD card (32GB or smaller) into your PC
  2. 2 Download the provided .zip file from your order email
  3. 3 Unzip the file to your Downloads folder
  4. 4 Highlight all extracted files, right-click and select Copy
  5. 5 Navigate to your SD card in file explorer and Paste the files
  6. 6 You should see a Matrix folder plus .gpx, .usr, and .kml files on the card
  7. 7 Eject the SD card and follow the import steps above for your unit
